A self-described “poet with props,” Jeff Evans creates a laid-back, lyric-driven musical experience that pays homage to the legendary roots of his hometown. Based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jeff incorporates the effortless groove of the classic Tulsa Sound and a splash of Red Dirt into his thoughtful blend of Folk, Americana, and Blues. Armed with a guitar, harmonica, and mandolin, his songwriting takes heavy inspiration from master storytellers and groove-makers like JJ Cale, BB King, and Jim Croce, ensuring that every song, whether lighthearted or deeply serious, captures a genuine moment or experience.
After years of building a steady following across Northeastern Oklahoma, Jeff is preparing to cross state lines for his official showcase debut on July 17th, 2026. While he frequently collaborates in a dynamic duo format with multi-instrumentalist Reid Wixson back home, his solo performances offer a stripped-back, intimate look at his craftsmanship. For Jeff, the stage is a place to connect through the art of the narrative, giving audiences a chance to lean in, listen closely, and get lost in a well-told story.
