About This Songwright
Rooted in the timeless tradition of true American storytelling, Carthage, Missouri’s Quinton Scott approaches the stage with an acoustic guitar, a harmonica, and a clear-cut purpose. Proudly playing “both kinds of music, Country AND Western,” Quinton crafts narratives focused on common people accomplishing uncommon things, highlighting the grit, quiet heroism, and struggles of everyday life.
Guided by the classic folk mantra that it is a singer’s duty to “disturb the comfortable people, and comfort the disturbed,” Quinton treats every performance as a space for honest reflection. Since making his official showcase debut on February 1, 2025, he has continued to prove that the simplest arrangement a voice, six strings, and a harp can hold immense weight. For Quinton, fancy production takes a back seat to what truly matters: the undeniable power of a real story tied to a good song.
